SHE SAFARI held a catered press conference during the 2008 SHOT Show on Sunday, February 3, from 10 AM to 11 AM
to introduce the new additions to the line as well as introduce the coming of SHE's Outdoors television. On hand was
several members of Team SHE Safari, including national spokespersons; country music artist Irlene Mandrell, and
Olympic gold medalist Kim Rhode.
The new SHE Safari Rhode Wear technical shooting collection was unveiled along with the 2008 collections of safari,
upland and camouflage apparel for women. The SHE Safari Rhode Gold Shooting Vest is the vest Kim will be wearing in
her upcoming competitions. Casual shooting enthusiasts and world class competitors will be pleased with the unique
technical features and designs in the new line of SHE Safari Rhode Wear shooting apparel.
Members of Team SHE Safari, many of whom are noted TV personalities, were also at the SHE Safari booth throughout
the show signing autographs and giving away free posters. Media were encouraged to take advantage of the sessions to
interview Team SHE Safari members on a variety of topics related to the growing number of women involved in the
hunting sports.
As Brenda was about to take the stage to bring a close to the press conference, Pam Zaits called Kandi Kisky to the
podium to make the announcement that several people had contributed enough money to present a ten thousand dollar
check to Kids Hunting for a Cure on Brenda's behalf. You could see the shock on Brenda's face and how overwhelmed she
was by the gesture, expressions of love and concern. The money will be used to help kids fighting cancer which is near and
dear to all of our hearts!
Brenda herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in August, 2007 and has been in our Thoughts & Prayers DAILY! Life
is such a Precious Gift Brenda and your Friendship brings so much Happiness to so many Lives! We Love You!
