national spokesperson.

Irlene Mandrell was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is the youngest sister of the world famous Mandrell Sisters.  Irlene and her
sisters come from a musical family. She began playing the drums professionally when she was eleven.  Irlene is a Country Music Hall
of Fame Walkway of Stars inductee. She has received many awards including two comedy acts of the year awards from Music City
News. She is also recognized for her long lasting role on Hee Haw.

Irlene is and has been an accomplished hunter for several years.  She has
hunted North America, Mexico, South America and Africa.  She is proficient
with most venues of weapons including rifle, handgun, shotgun and archery.   

Closely associated with SCI, Irlene has many animals that meet the
requirement for both rifle and handgun record book. She has also served at
the Sportsman Against Hunger banquet and is a Life Member. Irlene is also
a life member of the NRA.
