“Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures” TV show will receive a “First Lady’s” touch beginning in 2008 with the exciting addition of an
all-new segment sponsored by SHE Safari clothing for women and hosted by the lovely and talented Louise Shockey.
Fans of Jim and those throughout the hunting industry have been introduced to Jim’s wife Louise, who often accompanies her
globetrotting husband on his exotic hunting adventures around the world. Louise, a former professional actress and model, brings a
valuable new dimension to the show in every episode beginning in January 2008.

Louise’s SHE Safari segment will highlight compelling cultural attractions,
travel destinations, native history, travel advice, and more. One of Jim’s
primary motivations in seeking out hunting adventures around the world has
always been to share the cultural side of the story with his viewers. Now,
thanks to SHE Safari and Louise, a portion of each show will be dedicated to
this intriguing component of safaris … no matter where in the world they
might lead.
SHE Safari began several years ago when Pam Zaitz was unable to find
functional safari apparel that was made for the shape of a woman. Being an
avid hunter, and with a pending trip to both Zimbabwe and Tanzania, Pam set
out to design and build the perfect balance of fashion and functionality.
After months of designing, testing and input, SHE Safari introduced its line
of women's safari wear to the market. The response was so positive that
SHE spent the balance of the year searching for the right materials and
styles to introduce its upland product line. Once the upland line was in place,
the company focused on designing a broad range of camouflage women's wear
for the North American markets. During 2006 SHE Safari devoted its
efforts to creating a full range of shirts, pants, jackets and accessories in
multiple weights and styles.
“Although Pam has been hunting for 17 years, we decided not to rely solely
upon her experiences in designing the clothing,” explains SHE Safari vice
president Brian Zaitz. “We decided to work with several pros in the industry
to take advantage of their valuable expertise. Louise Shockey is one of our
industry’s leading ladies. We are proud of our new association with the
Shockey’s, who embody professionalism.”
